NATURAL DIY LIP BALM RECIPES


Basic Beeswax Lip Balm

  • 1 tablespoon beeswax pellets

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon shea butter or cocoa butter

  • 5-10 drops essential oil (optional, for fragrance)


Instructions:

  1. In a double boiler, melt the beeswax pellets, coconut oil, and shea butter (or cocoa butter) over low heat. Stir occasionally until fully melted.

  2. Remove from heat and add the essential oil, if using. Stir well to combine.

  3. Quickly pour the mixture into lip balm tubes or small containers before it starts to harden.

  4. Let the balm cool and solidify completely, which should take about 1-2 hours.


 

Honey Lip Balm

Honey is known for its moisturising and healing properties, making this lip balm perfect for chapped lips.
