CLEANING THE FRIDGE
So, this isn't my kitchen (as you'll see from the video at the end of this blog post), but it just looks nicer than mine! :)
I'm sure you can resonate with me about how easy it is to go months without cleaning out the fridge. We use it everyday, yet neglect it all the same. It can be a little time consuming if it has been sometime since you've wiped everything down, but it can be done using one hero ingredient to make it sparkle, and kill any odours... WHITE VINEGAR!!! I try and at least wipe out the fruit and vegetable bins every other week, and replace the paper towel I use in the bottom of the bins. This definitely helps me keep a handle on having a mostly clean fridge, most of the time.
Make a natural cleaning using 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 water in a spray bottle.
Pull everything out of your fridge. (Or, just the big things and move the little things to the side as you go). This is the perfect time to get rid of that science experiment that's been going on the back of your fridge for a while now, and take stock of perhaps what you need to replenish.
Spray either directly onto the shelves or onto a microfibre cloth and wipe down all the shelves, as well as the channels they sit in. Don't forget the shelves in the door or the freezer.
Clean the outside. Use the vinegar spray and the microfibre cloth to make the outside sparkle.
DONE! Well, if only it was as fast as reading this blog post :) Some things worth doing, are worth the time and effort right? To watch me clean my fridge, take a look at the video below and happy cleaning!
